The environment was peaceful. The room was spacious it allowed abit of privacy Garden is well maintained.

The breakfast misrepresented the place it was over cooked. My room had dirty towels.

Pleasant

The Spa experience was very nice and worthwhile the price paid The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The Thursday we arrived our car was searched, and we were advised that we can only consume alcohol and dinner bought at the property however the other guests (conference goers from i assume a union) bought in their own alcohol and even parked their cars close to the unit and were having a nice party on the passage. When we went to the restaurant on Thursday we were told that only a buffet was available however it took the staff a good half an hour to give us the price of R250 per head and the buffet was disappointing - needless to say we did not eat at the restaurant the Friday night as we had a picnic the afternoon as part of the package we bought with the spa.

Lovely stay but no fridge

The staff at the eating hall were very friendly. Front desk lady was friendly and housekeeping was respectful. I liked the cocktails, the outside play area and pool area. I loved the big bed it was super duper comfy.

The restaurant menu could do with a little more variety for small dishes. The grass near the pool had bottle caps laying around. And I would've given 5 stars if I just had a fridge in my room. We drink water all throughout the night and couldnt have it cooled, neither could I keep my babys food cool and I couldnt warm it up. Not baby friendly.

Short stay. Not much to say really. But thanks for great hospitality from your staff.

The location is great, love that the property is tucked away in and around nature. Beds were comfortable, nice and clean sheets. Food was good.

We arrived at 3pm and the rooms were being cleaned, had to wait for floors to dry before entering. The shower head in our room was horrible with water splashing outwards and low pressure. Water was cold after 8am, no bar fridges in the rooms

Bakwena Spa impressed me as well as the picnic that was arranged as part of the package we bought

I was overcharged and now struggling to get hold of Booking.com Was disappointed with the buffet however the breakfast was very nice Not impressed with the alcohol policy as it is only applicable to certain visitors

We enjoyed our weekend get away stay!

The food - Breakfast and Dinners were amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful during our 2 night stay! We had an awesome time. ;-)

Overall we really enjoyed our time, but minor things like bedside lights placed but had no plugs to be able to use them seemed strange. On arrival, were told you had to make use of their food and drink options - no outside food or drinks allowed (bit strange really)

The breakfast was very nice both days loved the muffins. The staff is very friendly... I give them a whole 10/10

The shower door and bathroom door are too close together meaning it was too small.. I did not like the friday supper which was suppose to be a buffet but it did not have a lot of options or even variety.

A stay for those who want to go to the lion park.

Location, proximity to lion park. Views in the morning and access to spa from facility through a cart. Outdoor area is baby and family friendly.

Breakfast was underwhelming and food facilities were constrained. Limited baby friendly food options such as oats in the morning. At this price point the breakfast could be better. The team doesn’t clean up tables after after other guests leave.

A clean & nice place to stay especially for a weekend break or getaway.

The location was good and the property situated in a close proximity to the main road which allows for easy to finding the property as well as a quick entry and exit to the property

The food offered at the restaurants were quite basic and ordinary foods of general average quality and very little options for vegetarians. Although I did submit a request of special mention to consider and cater for vegetarian meal/food options at the time of making the booking, it seems as if the request was not considered or granted leaving me with an option of only two vegetarian meals on the menu to choose from which was also a very basic pasta type of meal. I would suggest or recommend that more vegetarian food/meals options should be added to the menu allowing more of a variety as the vegetarian options are very limited. Also, a function was being held at the pool area for the same duration period of my stay and I was not able to make use of the pool due to the function taking place, I would suggest/recommend that a special mention or a notice should be made available to notify the guests at the time of making the booking the pool will not be available to avoid surprises of the expectation of a pool available and paid for and then upon arrival at the property being told that the pool is not available for use due to a function being held and the fact that this property indicates that it has a pool on the property is one of the primary reasons why I booked to stay at the property.
